Princess Badroulbadour is a princess from the east who Aladdin marries in the Story of Aladdin or the Wonderful Lamp. When Aladdin finds the magic lamp, he discovers it contains a djinn who helps him become rich, powerful and he marries Princess Badroulbadour. 

 

The book, "1001 Arabian Nights" is a collection of folk tales from Arabia, Persia, India, China and other Asian regions. The stories are linked together by the story of Shahrazad who is telling the stories to stay alive, by leaving her audience in suspense.  The Aladdin tale is actually a Chinese folk tale that migrated to Arabia.
